Dr. Mukul Mutatkar

Dr Mukul Mutatkar is a Consultant Radiologist from Pune, working in the fields of
Imaging, Vascular and primarily Interventional Radiology for three decades.
A graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) and post-graduate of the B.J
Medical College (BJMC), he underwent training for MRI and CT in the USA, Germany,
Japan and Australia. He has also trained in the UK and France with short sessions in
Trivandrum and Japan for Interventional Radiology.
He pioneered MRI in Pune at the Ruby Hall Clinic in 1989, at that time the 2nd MRI Centre in India. He is one of the Founder Directors of the successful OMEGA MRI
Centre as well as the PDS CT Scan Centre, and was also Consultant Radiologist at both these centres.
His expertise is often sought for imaging dilemmas be it MR,CT or even US/Color Doppler in addition to his being the leading Interventional Radiologist in the Pune region.
He is also actively involved with various software companies for the development of software for Radiology and Imaging. He is the founder Director of PurDes Radiology – the remote Radiology services company.
